I checked the specs for the Peak Antifreeze you are using and it appears to be Glycol based. Crown Vic's and GM's require HOAT (Hybrid Organic Alcohol Technology) based coolants. The reason for this is that the Panther platform engines have a cast iron block, with an aluminum radiator, intake manifold and heads. HOAT avoids making a battery out of the dissimilar metals, which causes aluminum to migrate to the cast iron block. Over time, this will cause your radiator to wear out faster and your heads to start leaking. Remember we are trying to get 300,000+ miles out of our cars. This is a time to go with Mastercraft Gold or use Zerex G-05. I buy Zerex for around $18 per gallon and flush my vehicles every 50,000 miles.

Degreasers are another thing that have suffered performance wise from the old days. I'd like to try this, it doesn't seem to be available locally. "Clean".

My Explorer wires were never cut… I can hear a relay clicking under the dash near the fuse box somewhere, but I still have no horn I removed the driver side front wheel and looked at the horns and wiring, it’s all fine…

I use a gallon Arizona iced tea plastic bottle with a twist off lid. I just hold the bottle upside down, loosen the lid a little to let the water out, then tighten it when all the water is out.

15:27 I wouldn’t use silicone on anything paint related. Marvel Mystery has been used in a pinch but old fashioned 3-in-1 with just a drop or two has been fairly innocuous and successful for me. Silicone goes for miles and plays mean games with a paint job.

But it seems the old lady replaced all the hardware and noticed these brand new strikers dont have bushings. This video confirmed my thoughts thank you

I cleaned my cells in vinegar like the manual says because the bigger cell had salt build up on the 2 tiny metal tabs inside that worked for a few hours now got code 90 again. I checked the contacts under the plug they look clean and shiny and water flow is strong so idk whatsy issue now

Still have to bleed the ABS though don't you? That air is going to go through the whole system so may as well have the dealer do their computerized ABS bleed otherwise you'll still have a spongy pedal feel... happened to me.

My brake pedal sinks after changing the front brake calipers. They have changed the brake master cylinder, they have bled the ABS module with a scanner and it remains the same. I can't find the problem, any ideas?.

I couldn’t figure out why my car was running like crap… I found out about ethanol free… on my 3rd tank of ethanol free and it seems to be running smoother now and getting way better gas mileage. I’m not sure why it’s running smoother other than maybe since it was sitting so long the ethanol was maybe starting to gum up inside the engine and fuel lines… but it’s running way better now. Just have to keep an eye on it.

Was this car throwing a P0455 code? My car generally does not have trouble filling up, However, after filling the tank, if I make a hard turn it will stall. There’s been times where it stalled and would not restart, but it’s been about four or five years since that happened. My CEL it’s pretty much always illuminated, about once a year it turns itself off for an extended period of time. Also, can you give me instruction on how to test the purge valve with a voltmeter? I’d like to determine if it’s working correctly.
